Full Day Workshop on "Creating a Culture of Nature Connection"
Join Mark Morey and staff for a 6-hour workshop about the importance of nature connection and how to
intentionally create culture that reflects the values and skills that are essential to fostering stewardship, leadership,
and community in today's world. This workshop will go more in-depth with the themes discussed in the 2-hour talk
and will include outdoor experiential activities. It will give you a whole new way of experiencing the natural world,
based upon considerable amounts of research done on both ancient and modern strategies for creating a depth of
nature connection in one’s life.
Mark brings many stories of his vast experience mentoring individuals and communities through their blind spots
and past their edges while empowering them with the skills necessary to build real community relationships. This
workshop will consist of indoor lecture, stories, and discussion blended with outdoor experiential activities.
Some of the organizations Mark has worked with include The Children and Nature Network, Owlink Media, The
Regenerative Design Institute, The Wilderness Awareness School, The Mankind Project, and The Tracker School. He is
currently working with leaders in Waldorf schools, Permaculture, Transition Towns, and Green MBA programs.
